Summary: “The Voice of the Hudson” is a film documentary by Emmy-winning cinematographer John Barnhardt about the 2023 Hudson River Source-to-Sea Expedition that provided leaders of tomorrow with a unique and challenging 15-day outdoor adventure: eight high-schoolers from across the U.S., including the Adirondacks, journeyed solely under human power from New York State’s highest summit—Mt Marcy—to New York City and along the 370-mile voyage cultivated their awareness of the Hudson’s majesty as well as current pollution and microplastics concerns.
