The North Country Jazz Project is an eighteen piece big band directed by David Hosley. The group includes saxes, trumpets, trombones, and rhythm section. We perform big band music from the libraries of Buddy Rich, Count Basie, Maynard Ferguson, Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington, Glen Miller, Stan Kenton, Woody Herman as well as more recent jazz orchestra composers such as Alan Baylock, Chuck Mangione, and Sammy Nestico. The band has been together for ten years and has many loyal followers.
