Summary of the Workshop Brian McCormack is well known as a traditional skills artist in the field of both his Native Mohawk Indigenous culture and European settlers of the 1700s. Brian will take you through the culture and traditions of wampum and you will learn not only how it used to be made but will also create your own bracelet on a wooden bracelet frame and made in the traditional style with traditional materials of tubular glass and sinew.
Brian McCormack is well known in the fields of historical interpretation. This year, 2023, he was tapped to become the Commander of Native Forces on the North Eastern Coast. Brian's family has roots in Mohawk, Irish and Scottish heritages.
